Jaden Smith, who released his third studio album, ‘CTV3: Cool Tape Vol. 3’ on August 28, appeared as a guest on Friday’s episode of ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest,’ and spoke over the romance rumors sparked after were photographed with Sofia Richie on the beach, on the Labor day.
He first said that he actually did not look at the internet, so he had not seen any news on this issue. Then added that they were just friends:
“But, me and Sofia have been friends for like 10 years. We’ve been going to the beach pretty consistently for 10 years too.”
The actor and rapper, who were photographed hanging out in Malibu with model and fashion designer Sophia Richie, said:
“But, yeah, we’re just homies and we love each other and it was fun.”
As known, Sofia Richie had been together with television personality Scott Disick, who is 15 years older than Richie, for almost 3 years. However, in August, they announced their split up.
Regarding the day Jaden and Richie spent together, a source told PEOPLE that they spent hours together on the beach, kept flirting and hugging. And the source added:
“It was obvious that they both loved hanging out. Jaden had his arm around Sofia and she had a huge smile.”
