Former model Isabella Rossellini, daughter of legendary actor Ingrid Bergman and film director Roberto Rossellini, took to Instagram the other day to heralded that she had received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
‘Blue Velvet‘ star delivered the news with respective Instagram posts; first, she posted a snap of herself that sees her waiting in the vaccine line and then shared another photo, in which she is pointing out the bandage on her arm, that she received after the vaccine. Alongside the second photo, Rossellini wrote:
“First dose for the covid vaccine!!!!! 👏🏻👍🏻”
Then the Golden Globe-nominated actor stated that she cried while she was watching on television the national COVID-19 memorial ceremony in Washington held for more than 400.000 people who died of the coronavirus disease, and concluded her message as follows:
“My thoughts and prayers are with all the familes who lost their loved ones. 💔”
As fans might remember, Rossellini, who frequently shares photos of herself wearing a coronavirus mask and face shield to urge people to do the same, declared back in November that she started working again on the film sets by practicing social distance and using the personal protective equipment. At that time, she wrote referring to HBO‘s documentary about Julia Child:
“On the ferry coming back home from Boston where we shot for HBO a pilot based on the life of Julia Child. I played her French friend Simca Beck who thought her how to cook. It was marvelous to work again.”
