Emily Mitchell, who was a well-known blogger and content creator, died three days before Christmas, while she was pregnant with her fifth baby.
The owner of The Hidden Way Instagram page with more than 100.000 followers, unexpectedly passed away in the morning of December 22, 2020, according to the GoFundMe page her family had created after her passing.
That morning when she was having breakfast, she suddenly became unresponsive, and she and her fifth, unborn child could not be returned to life against all the valiant efforts of medical professionals, her husband, Joseph, and other family members.
The statement of the family on the said GoFundMe page, launched to raise fund for her children’s education next year, continued as follows:
“Our hearts are broken and her joyful presence will be greatly missed by so many. Em made a big impact in so many people’s lives, and this loss is incomprehensible for anyone who knew her. Our friend was a dedicated mom and wife, she had a heart for the Lord, and loved her children so dearly.”
Mitchell’s family also stated that medical professionals and doctors are still working to figure out the main reason for her death, and said that they would update her fans and followers when they could get the answer.
“We appreciate everyone’s concerns about her sudden passing, and want to thank you all for the love you’ve expressed in the form of messages, calls, and letters. Your words didn’t go unnoticed and her family is very grateful for your support during this devastating time.”
As fans might remember, Mitchell announced through the said Instagram page that she and her husband were expecting their fifth child together, by sharing an ultrasound picture of her baby. Alongside the photo, she wrote as a caption:
“Number FIVE coming in hot and we are here for it. Eleven weeks 2 days and counting.”
