Hollywood actor Hilarie Burton marked her husband, Jeffrey Dean Morgan‘s 55th birthday in ‘The Walking Dead‘ style.
As fans already know, Morgan turned 55 on April 22; in order to mark the day through social media, her wifey, Hilarie Burton took to her verified Instagram account and released a two-photo gallery from the backstage of the series. Burton, who joined the cast of the series as a guest star, uploaded photos, in which she is seen wearing zombie makeup and kissing her hubby.
Alongside the photos, the mother of Morgan’s children wrote the following message that refers to the story of the series:
“Happy birthday to my sweetheart! Now we really can say we’ve been through it all….even an apocalypse.”
Expressing her love for the husband, Burton continued her message as follows:
“I love where we’ve been. I love where we’re going. On your birthday I hope you know how adored you are. By Gus. By George. By Me. Another bats*it year in the books! Timer on your cake just went off. Let’s pig out and party.”
In return, Morgan, who is portraying ‘Negan’ in the fan-favorite show, jumped into the comments section to thank his wifey. He penned that his birthdays not meant much for a long time, he continued:
“Except you just won’t let it go! I mostly thank you for that. I’m the luckiest… even when you’re dead you’re still pretty hot. A new kink….maybe! Love the shit outta you, every minute of every day. Thank you for another year… and getting us through it.”
