Hayley Kiyoko, the ‘Fosters’ star jumped into her verified Instagram account so as to express her satisfaction with being a part of the first Pride event of Disney Plus!
Kiyoko, who has been garnering praises for her latest music video for the song ‘Chance,’ became sociable on June 29, released a video from the event called ‘This Is Me: Pride Celebration Spectacular’ and stated it was an honor for her to performing Kiss the girl’ from The Little Mermaid at the stage.
As one of the most-known LGBTQ+ activists, Kiyoko wrote the following message alongside the video showing her at the stage:
“Full circle moment getting to do something for @disneyplus first pride event, bringing a new meaning to ‘Kiss the girl’ from The Little Mermaid. Thank you and congrats to @ninawest for hosting this pride event and being such a trailblazer.”
Via the first-ever virtual variety show ‘This is Me: Pride Celebration Spectacular,‘ DisneyPlus aimed to honor the members of the LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month. Regarding the special Joe Earley, global head of Marketing and Content Curation for Disney+ stated:

During the special, hosted by Nina West, Alex Newell, DCappella, Frankie Rodriguez and Joe Serafini, Jackie Cox, Jesse James Keitel, Kermit the Frog, Michael James Scott, Todrick Hall performed alongside Kiyoko.
