The well-known model and television personality Hailey Bieber opened up about self-confidence; and media and internet impact on it, during an interview on ELLE magazine.

The mega model, who is the daughter of Stephen Baldwin and niece of Alec Baldwin, stated that even though she has always been comfortable being herself when the internet started comparing her to other people it was really difficult.

“I enjoy being me, but the comments made me feel like that wasn’t enough. As women we can feel insecure for a lot of different reasons, every human has insecurities about one thing or another.”

Bieber also talked about the early times of her marriage; as widely known, Hailey and Justin Bieber in November 2018.

“For a long time, I compared myself to other people, especially in the modeling industry. Then, when I got married, it got even worse. People were constantly comparing me to other women.”

The TV personality, who is bullied both in the celebrity world and fashion industry by being compared with certain women, revealed that her biggest hurdle had been overcoming people on the internet perpetuating it all.

“When there’s thousands of people pushing a false narrative about you, it’s hard to turn off that noise. I had to go through that journey and get on the other side of it. I made a decision to turn things off, stop looking, stop reading, and step away from it.”

Then Bieber said that she had grown into herself and she was more confident than she had ever been before.
