Hollywood actor Gwyneth Paltrow marked a milestone through her verified Instagram account, on May 14.
One of the most recognized actors worldwide, Paltrow announced that she is celebrating her daughter, Apple Martin‘s 17th birthday; in order to mark the day, she released a photo of her beloved daughter whom she shares with ‘Coldplay’ lead singer Chris Martin.
Along with the photo of Apple, which is proof that she is a mixture of her father and mother, Academy Award-winning star wrote a tribute that begins:
“Can it be? 17 today? My sweetest girl… You are my life! You make me belly laugh every day. You are brilliant and hardworking. You are fully YOU which I respect and admire so much. I wish I had had even a spoonful of the self-acceptance you have when I was your age.”
The Golden Globe winner, who welcomed Apple on May 14, 2004 with Martin, concluded her adorable tribute as follows:
“You are so inspiring and just so cool. I remember the morning you came into the world so perfectly, I just can’t believe it was 17 years ago. Happy birthday, my angel.”
As soon as Paltrow had released the post, her industry friends jumped into the comments section to celebrate Apple’s birthday; here are some of these comments:
“Beautiful Apple, how the days have flown by! Happiest birthday sweet and happy born day to you Mama! Love you both” wrote, Kate Hudson.

As fans might remember, in a recent interview with PEOPLE magazine the ‘Seven’ actor revealed that Apple likes her style now, after a period in which she thought her mother was a total loser.
