Pro boxer Evan Holyfield posted a short video to his Instagram Stories to say his father, legendary boxer Evander Holyfield is always ready to defeat Mike Tyson, also known as “Iron Mike.”

The 23-year-old stated that father Holyfield is looking “pretty swole” now and added that he knows his father has stopped training never ever. Stating he is so much excited to see the next match between the legends, he continued:

I don’t expect him to lose! The first 2 went a certain way and I feel like the 3rd. I know it’s all for good sport and for charity and stuff at the end of the day, but I don’t plan on seeing my dad getting beat up.”

Holyfield then said he is really hoping to witness that match with his own eyes, in addition to creating memories. As known Tyson and Holyfield had fought against each other two times, in 1996 and 1997, before Evan was born.

In both fights, Holyfield, who has been named as one of the 100 greatest punchers of all time, beat Mike Tyson as an amateur. These victories made him the second boxer to receive a world heavyweight title three times, after “the Greatest,”  Muhammad Ali.

The son concluded his words as follows:

“At the end of the day, that Roy Jones vs. Mike Tyson fight was pretty historical and I feel like it would be pretty important to me to be part of a historical moment along with my father.”
