‘Fast and Furious’ alumni Eva Mendes went to her verified Instagram with a make-up free selfie and apologized to her fans and followers for not pranking herself up enough.
On May 20, the well-known Hollywood star, who stepped back from her acting career after welcoming her two daughters with actor & director husband Ryan Gosling, shared a photo showing herself unpolished nails and unplucked eyebrows. Alongside the photo, the star, who is currently a full-time mother, wrote the following message as a caption:
“This is a formal apology. I am truly sorry about these brows. I apologize profusely about these hands.”
While she was apologizing, of course, she was just referring to that being a mother means sometimes to make a pause to being fully dressed up all time. Mendes, who has been marked as one of the world’s most beautiful Latin women continued her message as follows:
“But their maintenance is so low on my priority list, down there with baking my own bread and learning how to crochet.”
The actor, born Eva de la Caridad Méndez, concluded her words by writing, “once again, my sincere apologies.”
After the mother-of-two released the shot, her fans, and well-known friends including singer and songwriter Camilla Cabelo, took to the comment section to express that she is looking gorgeous without make-up. What’s more, certain users of the platform reminded her that it is not obligatory to pluck eyebrows and polish nails.
