Eminem Disses Snoop Dogg In His New Musical Release ‘Music To Be Murdered By – Side B’

Eminem fired back at Snoop Dogg in his brand new song, titled ‘Zeus,’ which is from his latest release ‘Music to Be Murdered By – Side B.’

The rapper targeted Snoop Dogg by mentioning him directly by name in the song after the ‘Da Game is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told’ hitmaker had left Eminem off his “top ten rappers of all-time list.” As fans might remember, back in August, Dogg took to Instagram and released the list that includes his favorite rappers’ names.

In the list, Slick Rick, Ice Cube, L. Cool J., R. S. 1., Rakim, Run. From. Run. DMC, From. DMC, Big Daddy Kane, Ice. T, and Too Short took place. Alongside the list, Dogg added:

“A lot of niggaz been crying about me leaving people off my top 10 without.”

What’s more, in June, Dogg appeared as a guest on the Breakfast Club show and said “white rappers had zero respect in rap” and continued:

Dr. Dre has probably put Eminem in the position where he would be labeled one of the top 10 rappers ever. I don’t think so. But ‘the game’ feels like he’s top 10 lyricists and all that that comes with it. That’s just because he’s with Dr. Dre, and Dr. Dre helped him find the best Eminem that he could find.”

Whereupon, Eminem, marked as one of the great rappers of all time, answered back the rapper by rapping in ‘Zeus,’

“And as far as squashin’ beef / I’m used to people knockin’ me / But, just not in my camp/ I’m diplomatic, ’cause I’m tryna be / Last thing I need is Snoop doggin’ me / Man, dog, you was like a damn God to me / Man, not really / I had dog backwards.”

In the same song, the ‘8 Mile’ rapper also apologized to Rihanna for the song leaked almost ten years ago, which was about her battle with Chris Brown:

“But, me, long as I re-promise to be honest/ and wholeheartedly, apologies, Rihanna / For that song that leaked, I’m sorry, Ri / It wasn’t meant to cause you grief / Regardless, it was wrong of me.”
