Dwayne Johnson Unveils The First Look At NBC’s ‘Young Rock’

Actor and former wrestler Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, warmed up his fans & followers by releasing the first official trailer for the NBC’s series, ‘Young Rock,’ on January 15, through his verified social media accounts. Johnson, who frequently expresses his excitement regarding the series which totally focusing on his young ages, released a lengthy caption along with the trailer for the sitcom television series.

Alongside the trailer that sees him as an elementary school boy, a teenager, and a teen-adult who just started his professional wrestling career, The Rock wrote that he wishes his dad, who is also portrayed in the series, was around him to see the sitcom; and he added that his father would have been proud of him & his achievements.

Then the actor pointed out the trailer and said the followings:

“And yes, I was clearly kicking puberty’s a*s at 15 years old and becoming a tequila tycoon by the time I was 10 😂🥃🤦🏽‍♂️”

Stating that he can not wait to “make people laugh and share life lessons he has learned along the way,” The Rock heralded that the series would hit the TV on February 16.

As fans might remember, the series, created by Nahnatchka Khan and Johnson himself, was first announced in 2020. Produced by Jeff Chiang, Dany Garcia, Jennifer Carreras, Hiram Garcia, and Brian Gewirtz, the series centered on Johnson’s early life, starred Bradley Constant, Uli Latukefu, Adrian Groulx, Stacy Leilua, and Joseph Lee Anderson.
