One of the most recognized actors of Hollywood, Dwayne Johnson can not help expressing his excitement regarding portraying DC Comics character ‘Black Adam‘ in the upcoming superhero film.

Following multiple social media posts focusing on his role, Johnson, “The Rock,” jumped into his verified Instagram account on April 16, and showed off that he speeded up his workouts to look like more “superhero.”

Through Instagram, the former wrestler posted a photo of himself, which sees his bulging muscles on his back, and then referred to the archenemy of the superhero ‘Captain Marvel’ with the song ‘Man In Black‘ by Johnny Cash. In the caption section, The Rock wrote the lyrics of the song released in 1971:

“I’d love to wear a rainbow every day / And tell the world that everything’s okay / But I’ll try to carry off a little darkness on my back / ‘Til things are brighter / I’m the Man In Black

Then the actor clarified the photo by writing that he has been experiencing “great training session before sunrise and a helluva week shooting ‘Black Adam.'” The 48-year-old star concluded his words as follows and expressed his pleasure of portraying the character again:

“Thank you guys for all your support and excitement for this film – we’re motivated to deliver for you. Finish your week strong.”

Starring Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell, Marwan Kenzari, Sarah Shahi, and Pierce Brosnan alongside Johnson has been set to release on July 29, 2022.
