Well-known comedian Patton Oswalt, who is portraying ‘Principal Ralph Durbin‘ Peacock’s ‘A.P. Bio‘ jumped into his verified Instagram account in order to mark a milestone; as of the date of May 21, 2021, Oswalt is celebrating the 4th anniversary with Meredith Salenger.
On May 20, Oswalt released a selfie with his wifey and added a lengthy caption that refers to the first date story:
“After three straight months of just texting each other, every night, talking in the dark before we fell asleep. Then texting and talking wasn’t enough. We met in a hotel lobby at the beach, had dinner, went for a walk, watched chess players and neon bicycles zooming by. Also, I totally made out with her. And that meeting, and her heart, and her abiding soul, were what rocketed me back into the sunlight.”
Then the star stated that they are apart today because that he is working on a project and Salenger is in Maui with “her aikido instructor Dirk Strongloin.” Oswalt concluded his message by saying that they just talking in the dark until they are back in each other’s arms.
Meanwhile, wifey fired up her social media accounts to celebrate the day; she released a photo showing the couple connecting through Zoom and wrote the following message as a couple:
“We met exactly 4 years ago today after texting two hours a night for 3 months! Never even spoke on the phone! (Until the week before). Happy Anniversary I’m so glad I liked you after I fell in love with you. And now here we are again. Relegated to texting for the next month while you are away filming. I like this form of communication with you.”
As known, the comedian lost his wife of 11 years, journalist Michelle McNamara back in 2016, from an accidental overdose caused by certain medications. Just after a year, Oswalt, who won Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing, tied the knots with Salenger.
