Three-time MTV Video Music Award-winning star Ciara showed that she always stands in the back of her long-time pal Vanessa Bryant.
On May 17, the well-known star took to her verified Instagram account and release a tribute to Bryant who lost her beloved husband Kobe Bryant and their 13-year-old daughter Gigi in the helicopter crash in January 2020.
As known, Bryant, who recently launched a fashion line in honor of Gigi, attended the Basketball Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony on Saturday and delivered a highly emotional speech. The wife of the late Kobe Bryant thanked “all those who helped him get here” during her speech, after accepting the award. She also said:
“He and Gigi deserve to be here to witness this.”
Following this historical moment, Ciara went to her Instagram account with a series of photos of Bryant and hers. After releasing a couple of shot from the ceremony night, the singer and songwriter, who built strong friendship bonds with Bryant especially after the tragic passing of Kobe and Gigi, wrote the following message as a caption:
“Everything you’ve had to do hasn’t been easy and you’ve done it with Poise, Grace and incredible Strength. The fire that was in Kob and Gi Gi is in you! You gave an incredible speech like the true Mamba Queen you are.“
Ciara, who reportedly helps Vanessa and her children all the time in order to uplift their spirits, concluded her message as follows:
“You inspire me daily, and so many around the world. I’m just so proud of you. We are all always here for you and the girls.”
After the singer released the emotional post, her fans and followers took to the comments section to say that Vanessa has shown great strength during all the ceremony. What’s more, they also congratulated Ciara for all her support and love toward the Bryant family.
