Notable names in the celebs world took to their social media accounts with well wishes after it was announced that well-known rapper and music executive Dr. Dre had been hospitalized for a possible brain aneurysm.
As known, on January 5, it was reported by multiple news outlets that Dre, born Andre Romelle Young, suffered a brain aneurysm, and he was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center’s ICU in Los Angeles, California. He confirmed the news by releasing the following message through his official social media accounts:
“Thanks to my family, friends, and fans for their interest and well wishes. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
Once the news spread, Dre’s industry friends flooded the social media to encourage him; comedian and actor Martin Lawrence was one of them. Lawrence posted a black & while photo of Dre, and added a note that reads:
“Praying for a safe and speedy recovery for my brotha @drdre 🙏🏾 Much love!”
As for the living basketball legend, LeBron James, shared a pair of photos of himself with the musician and wrote in short that he is praying for his “brother.”
What’s more, rapper 2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, released a photo of the two working in a music studio and captioned it with the following message:
“Praying for one of the greats🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿💙 @drdre, every since @demjointz linked us up we kept in touch! I know you good gangsta 💪🏿 get well soon“
