Cardi B had her estranged husband Offset back against the fans who had criticized him because of the Birkin Bags post.
As fans remember, the rapper shared a post a few days ago to show off Cardi B’s expensive bags after Saweetie had claimed that men should buy pricey Birkin bags for their partners. Alongside a photo that his wife and a good number of luxury bags of her, he added the following message:
“Stop letting people on the internet tell you’ll who can get a Birkin at the store, and how many Birkin’s you can get. Black people having access to luxury shouldn’t be a debate…by the way hip hop starts the trends!”
However, this post made a controversy among the followers: Many of them stated that Offset have should spend his money on paying student loans or supporting people in need instead of buying thousands of dollars purses just for panache.
Whereupon, the ‘WAP‘ rapper took to her social media in order to defend Offset, from whom she had filed for divorce, against the aforementioned criticism. Cardi B posted a series of screenshots of her husband’s posts concerning the politics and social issues, and added the following note:
“This man has posted ten plus times about voting but the one time he talks about a bag it’s what makes you go into a frenzy and in deep conversations.”
Then the rapper added she spoke multiple times about voting, however, she was mocked by the fans. So much so that, when she or her husband went live and talked about the social issues, the views went down really fast. She added:
“I don’t understand why people be fronting like ya be interested in something and want to see ‘more celebrities’ invested on social issues but what YOU MAKE TREND is drama and what buying what and who is getting what? So who is at fault the celebs or the public?”
Almost 2 weeks ago, ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker stood up once again for Offset and said that fans were not going to disrespect her daughter’s father after a Twitter user wrote that dragging him was their right.
