The highest-certified female rapper of all time, Cardi B goes on debuting the number 1 with ‘WAP’ even one month after releasing the song. As known, the song featuring Megan Thee Stallion was released on August 7, and reached the top in a highly short time of period.
In addition to the United States of America, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, Cardi B celebrated being number 1 in the United Kingdom; B, shared a screenshot of BBC Radio 1 tweet that read:
“They’ve done it! Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are this week’s official chart number 1 single with ‘WAP.’”
One of the 100 most influential people in the world, the rapper wrote alongside the image:
“Wow so happy to share that WAP just went number 1 in the UK music billboards. We went number 1 in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and now the UK 🇬🇧. So happy thankful and grateful. Weeks past and the song is still performing amazingly.”
Then the 27-year-old rapper thanked fans and released a piece of good news regarding she and Megan Thee Stallion would do something special:
“I want to do something special again for the fans this week or next but I don’t know what… matter fact… Imma let @theestallion decide… Let’s see what she comes up with. AGAIN! Thank you everyone around the world for all the support and all the love ya shown the song WAP WAP WAP! WE ARE GRATEFUL @theestallion”
