Cuban-born singer and songwriter Camila Cabello, who came to prominence as a member of the girl group ‘Fifty Harmony,’ took to her verified Instagram account on Earth Day and proved that she is a nature lover!
On April 23, the singer, who has been enjoying the media spotlight since her relationship with singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes came out, released a photo of herself, with adorable flowers attached to her hair. Alongside the photo, Cabello stated that she loves earth and nature, and declared that she started a new routine:
“Lately I’ve been really interested in learning the names of plants and trees and wildlife around me, because there’s nothing like connecting to nature- it instantly makes me feel a part of something (which we are cuz we are nature lol, but it’s easy to forget in the 21st century), it makes me feel safe and held and playful.”
Stating that she feels so lucky to “see the flowers and the trees and the animals and all the art and wonder nature offers us everyday,” Cabello added that nature makes her feel more alive.
In her message, the three-time Grammy Award-winning star heralded that she began discovering ways to protect the world against serious threats such as climate changes. In her own words:
“I’m learning the ways in which I can play apart in protecting our beautiful planet, learning about climate change policy, buying from sustainable brands, little changes in how I live, and simply reading and studying nature. Love you earth. I treasure you.”
At the end of her message, the young singer referred to the flowers on her head and wrote that they came from her own yard.
