Cuban-American singer & songwriter Camila Cabello made an “of the utmost importance” statement through Instagram by posting a video of herself, that she shows her boots which reads “VOTE.” With this unique video, the former member of the girl group ‘Fifth Harmony’ urged her fans to vote in the 2020 election to protect democracy.
Cabello, attending ‘Black Lives Matter’ protests a few months ago, captioned the said video as follows:
“Listen, EVERYBODY, our vote is our power! we need to do everything we can in the next 77 days to protect our democracy and fight for an equitable election. That means making sure we all have an opportunity to make our voices heard. We’ve got to vote like our lives depend on it.”
As remember, the other day, the singer also had teamed up with HeadCount to promote participation in democracy, and she promised to chat directly with a fan who registered to vote.
“There are lots of ways to take action… Support the post office, register to vote, request an absentee ballot early, volunteer to be a poll worker, and many others!”
Latin Grammy Awards winner Cabello also invited her fans to go to her stories to find more information regarding the voting actions in the upcoming general elections.
