Mayim Bialik, best known her portrayal of ‘Amy Farrah Fowler’ in the ‘The Big Bang Theory‘ created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, jumped into her verified social media accounts and expressed her satisfaction with appearing as guest host for one of the most-known TV shows.
On May 29, Bailik, who is currently playing ‘Kat’ in the comedy series ‘Call Me Kat‘ took to her verified Instagram account and published her first look at the latest episode of ‘Jeopardy!‘ where she is appearing as a guest host.
As known, the beloved host of the quiz show, Alex Trebek passed away back on November 8, 2020 at age 80, due to stage IV pancreatic cancer. After his passing, the well-known names started taking over at the podium.
As one of them, Bialik, released a photo of herself from the filming day for the show, and shared her excitement with her millions of followers. On Twitter, the actor wrote:
“Still can’t believe this is happening!!! It’s all so surreal!!! And the first episode is happening on Monday! Tune in!”
Following the star’s post, her industry friends were quick to respond to her; here are some of these comments:
“Is there a job more fitting for you? You are so talented. Have a blast!” wrote, her ‘Call Me Kat’ co-star Leslie Jordan.
“You were born to host jeopardy. I’m so excited for this I feel like it’s happening to me,” added well-known actor Cheyenne Jackson.
