Bruno Mars has a new title now!
Well-known singer, songwriter, record producer and dancer Mars did not be satisfied with these titles and launched a new collaboration with Lacoste as a “fashion designer.” The exciting news was delivered by the singer himself through social media channels.
The ‘Grenade’ hitmaker released the first shots captured for the “Lacoste x Ricky Regal” collection; in each photo, he reflected the soul of the 70s, with its hairstyle, accessories, and of course outfits. Alongside the photo, in which he is promoting his luxury 70s-inspired sportswear collection, he wrote on Instagram:
“When I’m on stage I go by Bruno Mars. When I’m making lavish luxurious garments, I go by @RickyRegal. Thank you @Lacoste 🐊 I’m a fashion designer now! Catch me at a fabric store near you 🧵🪡.”
In another Instagram post, the singer who named himself Rick Regal continued introducing his new “personality” plus “title” as follows:
“Record Producer, Luxury Alcohol Distribution, Gambling Consultant, Celebrity Services, Entrepreneur, Nightclub Owner, Tee Shirt Printing & High-End Fashion Designer. @rickyregal 🎲 @lacoste 🐊 Basically, #BigBriefcaseBusinessBoy”
As fans might remember, Mars revealed a year ago that Ricky Regal was his “designer alter ego.” According to the ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ singer his alter ego to help him think as a designer.
In a third post accompanied with a photo that sees him totally in 70s fashion taste, he also wrote:
“@Lacoste messed up and gave the boy the KEYS!!! Imma seriously need you to F*#k wit me on a real business type level! 💼 LETS GO!”
The luxury 70s-inspired sportswear collection Mars created with the help of Lacoste’s creative director Louise Trotter will be released on March 5.
