The well-known singer Britney Spears uploaded a photo, which read “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong” on Instagram and called out to those who left mean comments under her posts.
The ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ singer has been sharing certain posts including various dance videos for months to show her positive side in the lockdown.
However, some people described her posts as unusual and left overwhelmingly negative comments. Even, some Instagram users claimed that she has a problem and asked if she is okay or not.
So as to reply to ones who seek to criticize her, Spears wrote as a caption:
“I get how some people might not like my posts or even understand them, but this is Me being happy…”
Receiving numerous awards including Grammy Award, MTV Video Music Award, Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, and Billboard Music Award, Spears defended her Instagram content:
“This is Me being authentic and as real as it gets!!!!! I want to inspire people to do the same and just be themselves without pleasing others… that’s the key to happiness 🌸🌸🌸🌸!!!!!!”
