Five-time Grammy Awards winner Billie Eilish revealed that a feature-length documentary on her titled ‘ ‘Billie Eilish: The World’s A Little Blurry’ would come to Apple TV and in theaters February 2021.
The 18-year-old singer & songwriter, the youngest person ever to win the four main Grammy categories, released the news through her verified Instagram account; she posted a teaser for the documentary and wrote the followings as a caption:
“‘BILLIE EILISH: THE WORLD’S A LITTLE BLURRY’ – IN THEATERS AND ON APPLE TV+ IN FEBRUARY 2021”
The film, directed by R.J. Cutler, whose works include ‘The War Room,’ ‘A Perfect Candidate,’ ‘American High,’ ‘Nashville,’ ‘If I Stay,’ ‘Thin,’ ‘The World According to Dick Cheney and Listen To Me Marlon’ and so on, will be distributed in association with Interscope Films, Darkroom, This Machine, and Lighthouse Management & Media.
Apple, who named Eilish artist of the year at the first Apple Music Awards, reportedly paid $25 million for the film. This will be the second feature-length music documentary on Apple TV following ‘Beastie Boys Story.’
