Well-known plus-size model Ashley Graham updated her Instagram feed with a “victory message.”
Graham included a series of photoshoots taken for Fendi’s new collection, that sees her with three more plus-size models, and added a caption to show satisfaction regarding the fashion industry’s changed rules.
The mother of one touched on the new beauty standards, which allow any kinds of models to be seen in catalogs and runways. She first showed her gratitude for being a part of Fendi’s shoot and continued:
“For 21 years, I have watched this industry change before my own eyes and it makes me so proud to stand next to these three women, thinking of the next generation who will get to see themselves reflected.”
Graham, who is also known as an ambitious activist for the ‘Body Positivity‘ movement went on saying by expressing that supporting all the models, made a huge difference in changing the standards.
“It is no longer only the token curvy girl, but now an entire class of models of all shapes, races, sizes, and backgrounds beginning to be embraced.”
The well-known proponent of the ‘Health at Every Size‘ concluded her words by thanking everyone for making this possible.
