Well-known singer and songwriter Anne-Marie goes on sharing her own mental improvement journey with her millions of fans and followers through her verified social media accounts.
On April 23, the singer, who garnered international fame with the song ‘Rockabye‘ featuring famous rapper Sean Paul, went to her verified Instagram page with a couple of mirror selfies that see her in an oversize purple hoodie and a super-mini black skirt.
Along with the photos, in which the 30-year-old singer is looking like a teenage girl with her short pink hair and her posing style, she added a quite inspiring message both to celebrate her progress and to encourage her fans and followers to deal with the mental issues.
Anne-Marie, who is familiar with getting candid about her own experience of anxiety and depression, wrote a message that reads:
“Worrying about what other people might be thinking about you is so exhausting. Just for a second, imagine yourself without that worry. Actually walking around and thinking for yourself. And not through other people’s brains. It is so freeing. Is that even a word? I dunno.”
The ‘Speak Your Mind’ hitmaker then added that thinking in that way takes some time and practice, and made a huge confession regarding herself:
“Once upon a time I couldn’t even leave my house because of anxiety and I am proof you can work with it and move forward. You are beautiful. And nobody is thinking bad of you.”
Just in hours, Marie’s that honest post received more than 700K likes and thousands of comments.
