Four years after the divorce, the numerous award-winning actress Angelina Jolie opened up about why she chose to end her marriage with Brad Pitt.
As might be remembered, the couple got a divorce in 2016, however, they did not mention the reasons for this split up.
Finally, one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actresses, Jolie interviewed with Vogue India and spoke of her divorce from Brad Pitt after a 12-year relationship.
During the interview, ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’ star was asked how she has sustained a healthy environment for her children after split up from her children’s father Brad Pitt, and she answered as follows:
“I separated for the wellbeing of my family. It was the right decision. I continue to focus on their healing.”
Following revealing the reason for the divorce, the actress and activist Jolie continued by describing her children as brave and strong young people:
“Some have taken advantage of my silence, and the children see lies about themselves in the media, but I remind them that they know their own truth and their own minds. In fact, they are six very brave, very strong young people.”
