Alexander Ludwig Pays Tribute To The Late Veteran Actor Hal Holbrook: “What A Legacy You Left Behind”

Alexander Ludwig, the actor known for his roles in Vikings and The Hunger Games, updated his Instagram account to mourn the death of the veteran actor Hal Holbrook, at the age of 95.

Academy Award nominee, Emmy and Tony Award winner, American actor, Hal Holbrook, who portrayed Mark Twain with his one-man stage show for many years, died on January 23 at his home in Beverly Hills, California.

The 28-year-old Ludwig paid an honoring tribute for the late Hal Holbrook and shared it on his Instagram stories. Alexander Ludwig expressed his feelings as follows:

“Rest in peace Hal- working with you was one of the great experiences of my life. A tremendous human. And what a legacy you left behind.”

The Canadian actor had the chance to work with the legendary actor in the thriller movie ‘Blackway‘ in 2015 and  it was Holbrook’s final appearance before his death.
