The Obamas became sociable the other day so as to mark a milestone; on June 10, Sasha Obama turned 20!
In order to celebrate Sasha’s 20th birthday, both the former President and first lady fired up their social media accounts. Through Twitter, former President Barack Obama released a TBT shot of himself with Sasha, and then added a message that reads:
“Happy birthday, Sasha! You’ve grown so much, and it’s been a joy to watch you become the person we always hoped you’d be. Your mom and I can’t wait to see where life takes you next.”
Meanwhile, Michelle Obama, the former first lady who marked as a role model for a great number of people, jumped into her Twitter account and expressed her satisfaction with being the mother of Sasha. After including a never-before-seen shot of daughter, in which she is seen holding Sasha on her laps, Obama wrote the following message:
“Happy birthday to my darling Sasha! I am so grateful for every laugh we’ve shared — and everything you’ve taught me over the years. You’ll always be my little girl, but I couldn’t be prouder of the woman you are becoming. Love you so much!”
After The Obamas released their birthday tributes, a great number of users of the social media platform send their congratulatory messages.
As fans might remember, back in November, the former president said in an interview that both Sasha and Malia (their 23-year-old daughter) are willing to be politically active even though he and his wifey are not promoting them. It seems we will see Sasha, who participated in protests against police brutality, as a politician in near future.
