Singer and songwriter Miley Cyrus admitted that she is not a “good girl” at all!
On June 3, the well-known singer, who is familiar with sparking controversies with her preferences in her private & professional life, jumped into her verified social media accounts so as to mark a milestone; the ground-breaking song ‘We Can’t Stop‘ turned 8 as of the date of June 3, 2021.
In order to celebrate the 8th anniversary of the song, which help the singer turn her “teen-singer” career into a “pop-star” Cyrus went to both her Instagram and Twitter accounts. She released a couple of photos from the music video for the song, and announced herself as an “anti-hero.”
Alongside the photos from the clip, which made a huge controversy due to its sexual references, the singer wrote the note that reads:
“8 years of being America’s favorite antihero! We Can’t Stop Anniversary, forever grateful to Mike Will for this banger!”
As known, ‘We Can’t Stop’ was released on June 3, 2013 by RCA Records as the lead single from her fourth studio album ‘Bangers’ which is also featuring her hits ‘Wrecking Ball‘ and ‘Get It Right.’
As she mentioned in her message, she was criticized by a great number of people because of her provocative image in the music video; at the same time, the song plus the accompanying music video garnered high praises from music experts. So, yes, she became a hero after switched her image from ‘Hannah Montana’, but an anti-hero.
