Brooklyn-based rapper 6ix9ine goes on spreading his assertive words.
On May 24, the rapper, born Daniel Hernandez, jumped into his verified Instagram account and claimed that he is bookings shows at quite high rates: in order to make the announcement, the rapper, best known for his controversial social media presence, uploaded a short video from his performance at Payne Arena in Hidalgo, Texas.
Alongside the video, in which he is seen performing in front of a crowd 6ix9ine spoke out about the price of his show’s tickets. He first teased his fellow rapper; in his own words:
“Rappers lie and say they get 200,000 a show and be performing in front of a dead crowd with 700 people there.”
Then the 25-year-old rapper, who has been under media spotlight due to his federal issues in addition to his musical works, declared that he charges $500,000 for a performance even though he is quite new in the rap game:
“I drop 4 songs a year and get 500,000 dollars a show and do arenas! Tell these rappers to catch the f*ck up.”
This is not the first time Tekashi challenged his fellow rappers: as fans might remember, a few weeks ago, the rapper released a clip from his Trillerfest Miami performance and claimed that he is “the best performer.” At that time, he wrote:
“I’m the best performer in the rap game! 15,000 people in Miami thank you so much. I love you, by the way, I have seen a lot of you gangsters in the crowd.”
It seems that the ‘Kooda’ hitmaker will not stop challenging.
