Multiple-time Grammy Award-winning star Lady Gaga needs friend support these days.

As known, the other day, the singer and actor appeared on Oprah’s new Apple TV+ docuseries called ‘The Me You Can’t See‘ and revealed that she was assaulted by a music producer when she was 19. Gaga used the following words in order to get candid about past trauma:

“I was 19 years old, and I was working in the business, and a producer said to me, ‘Take your clothes off,’ And I said ‘no.’ And I left, and they told me they were going to burn all of my music. And they didn’t stop. They didn’t stop asking me, and I just froze and … I don’t even remember.’”

Stating that this trauma left lingering emotional pain, the ‘A Star Is Born’ actor continued her words as follows:

“For a couple of years, I was not the same girl. The way that I feel when I feel pain was how I felt after I was raped. I’ve had so many MRIs and scans where they don’t find anything. But your body remembers.”

After opening about the abuse she experienced years ago, Gaga became the main subject of the media; while numerous news released regarding the issue, the first woman to win an Academy, Grammy, BAFTA, and Golden Globe Award in the same year jumped into her verified Instagram account and released a make-up free selfie and thanked her friends for their support in these painful days.

Alongside the photo, in which she is seen lying on a couple of plush toys, Gaga, born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, wrote the following message as a caption:

“I love my friends. My real friends. That I come home to a pile of rainbows because they want me to smile and celebrate me. I love you friends, all your colors and your uniqueness—your kindness, your curiosity and endless love.”

To the comment section, numerous messages were sent; the fans and friends of the singer thanked her for “being the inspiration to be a better and stronger person.”
