Dua Lipa marked a milestone on her verified Instagram account on March 26; the singer celebrated the first release anniversary of the fan-favorite album ‘Future Nostalgia‘ which brought her countless accolades.

Lipa uploaded a series of behind-the-scenes shots and an accompanying caption in order to mark the day. Stating that she can’t believe how this year has flown, the 27-year-old artist wrote that the album, written and produced by Jeff Bhasker, Ian Kirkpatrick, Stuart Price, The Monsters & Strangerz, and Koz, redounded her incredible memories and experiences.

The singer, who created a nostalgic pop and disco world within the album which was released on March 27 through Warner Records continued her message as follows:

“Thinking back on the fear I had releasing this album at such an uncertain time, I also felt hope and trust in the music we have made. I hoped that my own personal form of escapism may serve for you too. I always say I’m so grateful with how this album has found a home with you but beyond that, I feel like it has brought us closer together.”

According to what she said in her message, her second studio album taught her patience, strength, confidence, happiness, and what she needs to do in order to be the version of herself. Lipa also thanked her fans, family and team with the following words:

“I’m thankful for my family, my friends, my love, my team and each and every single one of you that have been through this with me every step of the way. I can’t wait for what’s to come but for now, I just want to say thank you… I love you.”

The young artist concluded her words by promising her fans and followers that she would see them in a city near them “when the world is ready to dance.” Click here to access the post.
