27-year-old star Justin Bieber took to his verified Instagram account on March 8 both to mark International Women’s Day and made a confession regarding his behaviors towards women in past.
The singer and songwriter, who is preparing for launching his latest musical release named ‘Justice’ in mid-March, released a graphical image with “Happy Women’s Day” on it, and added a lengthy caption to confess his past actions against certain women in his life.
Alongside the image, the twenty-time Billboard Music Award winner wrote:
“I know I have been naive and haven’t been empathetic toward women in the past and have overlooked their struggles.”
The singer & songwriter, who was accused of assault by an anonymous woman back in 2020, then stated that he is learning day by day regarding the struggles of women besides his wife, Hailey Baldwin. In his own words:
“I see all of the struggles she faces that I will never have to face. I am committed to being better and more aware of the struggles women face that men never will!!”
The young star concluded his words by describing women as “superheroes” and saying they “deserve to be celebrated today and every day.”
Even though a great number of Instagram users corrected him by saying that International Women’s Day is not a celebration, but a symbol of fighting for rights, he was praised for the way he came through. So much so that, numerous women congratulated him that he has changed a lot over the past years.
