Actor and singer Hilary Duff is about to release her very first picture book; however, she does not still believe to have it.
On March 5, Duff, best known for portraying ‘Lizzie McGuire,’ took to her verified Instagram account to announce that she finally received the hard copy of the book titled ‘My Little Brave Girl.’ The expectant mother uploaded the photo of herself holding the book and added a lengthy caption to mention the process of writing. She began her message as follows:
“I can’t believe I’m actually holding a real copy of my very own picture book! My Little Brave Girl!”
Stating that she wrote the book “one night after a long day at work away from” her 4-month-old daughter, ‘The Haunting of Sharon Tate’ star continued:
“Emotions running high, still trying to hang on to nursing and being fearful of the change that comes with new schedules/work/really just life… I went down the rabbit hole thinking about the many adventures she will have in her life with and without me.“
Duff also expressed that she hopes the book, which will be released by Random House Children’s Books, inspires girls to listen to their hearts and lead their minds, and she stated that she aimed to help parents not feel so alone “dealing with the bittersweet taste of letting your child grow.”
The mother of three concluded her words with a couple of thanks:
“A big special thanks to @randomhousekids for making this dream come true for me, @kelseygarrityriley for surpassing my artistic vision, and the biggest thanks to Banks and her wild heart!”
‘My Little Brave Girl’ is coming out on March 23, what’s more, it is available to pre-order now.
