Academy Award-winning singer Bruce Springsteen was quick to send his condolences after his musician fellow Michael Gudinski passed away on March 1, 2021.
As known, marked as “one of the most significant and powerful players,” Gudinski died in his sleep at the age of 68; according to the press statement regarding the issue, he was at home in Melbourne.
Once the devastating news spread, the ‘Dancing in the Dark‘ hitmaker issued a statement through his verified social media accounts. In his statement, Springsteen described Gudinski as the “first, last, and always a music man” and continued as follows:
“I’ve toured the world for the last fifty years and never met a better promoter.”
Stating that the 68-year-old musician was loud, always in motiın and soulful, the well-known singer added:
“Michael always spoke with a deep rumbling voice, and the words would spill out so fast that half the time I needed an interpreter. But I could hear him clear as a bell when he would say, ‘Bruce, I’ve got you covered.’ And he always did.”
The living Rock N Roll legend concluded his words by saying that Gudinski will be remembered by artists “from all over the world every time they step foot on Australian soil” and sent his deepest condolences to the entire Gudinski family especially his wife Sue.
As fans might know, Springsteen and Gudinski teamed up in previous years for ‘Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band tour;’ the musicians received the Best International Contemporary Concert award at Helpmann Awards both in 2013 and 2014 for their collaboration.
