Singer, songwriter, and actor Nick Jonas goes on promoting his latest musical release ‘Spaceman.’
As known, the member of Jonas Brothers announced in early February that his fourth studio album, which is marked as the first solo project since 2019, has been set to release on March 12, 2021. Since that date, Jonas has been giving further information day by day regarding the highly-expected album.
On March 2, the 28-year-old, who has been garnering media attention with his relationship with his actor wife Priyanka Chopra for a while, unveiled the official cover of the album consisting of 11 songs and revealed the main theme of it. In addition to the cover image, he added a photo captured for the album, that sees him wearing a jumpsuit and standing on a hill; alongside the photos, Jonas wrote:
“We’ve all experienced some form of loss, and likewise some form of grief over the past year. Distance became a universal woe for everyone and led us to ask ourselves – How can we shorten this newly required separation from one another?”
Then regarding the three tracks, were co-written by himself, Greg Kurstin and Maureen “Mozella” McDonald, the singer added:
“The first three songs on the album are #DontGiveUpOnUs, #Heights, and #Spaceman. These three songs all explore the theme DISTANCE and how it’s now become.”
As known, the singer first performed the lead single ‘Spaceman’ at ‘Saturday Night Live‘ on February 27, and a great number of people considered that the lyrics are directly pointing out the COVID-19 pandemic. Via the abovementioned post announcing the main theme of the song is “distance” Jonas confirmed it.
