Expectant Mother Ellie Goulding Announces That ‘Brightest Blue Tour’ Is Not Going Ahead As Planned: “I Am Absolutely Gutted”

Well-known singer and songwriter Ellie Goulding, who garnered huge media attention after announcing that she is expecting her first baby with her husband Caspar Jopling with a VOGUE interview, declared through her social media accounts that her highly expected Brightest Blue Tour‘ will not take place April & May.

By releasing a series of photos of herself performing at previous concerts and an image that includes rescheduled dates, Goulding wrote a lengthy message both to clarify the situation and apologize to her fans who have already bought tickets. The ‘Love Me Like You Do‘ singer wrote:

“It’s become clear that my tour can’t go ahead as planned in April-May. I am absolutely gutted… My live show is the beating heart of what I do and trust me I want (and need!) that rush of live music as much as you all.”

The singer, who stated in her VOGUE interview that she is 30-weeks pregnant, in her message also heralded that the show did not cancelled at all; according to what the singer stated the concerts have been rescheduled to later on this year, October 2021. She continued:

“For all of you that have already bought tickets, I’m sorry – and I’m counting on you to bring even more of the Brightest Blue energy to the shows when they happen.”

In the last part of her caption, the expectant mother informed her fans and followers regarding their tickets by saying that they will remain valid for the new dates. Goulding ended her message with a broken heart emoji. Click here to view the post.
