The sibling of Miley Cyrus, Noah released her latest musical project titled ‘Dear August‘ the other day and did not skip to deliver a ‘The Notebook‘ themed music video for the song.
Nominated for her very first Grammy a few months ago, Noah Cyrus shared her feelings regarding the song and accompanying music video which is her dream come true, by going to her verified Instagram account on February 12. She first posted a short clip from the music video, in which she is seen in 70s outfits, and then wrote a lengthy caption to thank those who made it possible to release her song in the way she desired.
“I was to thank our director @mattxearl for bringing my vision of “The Notebook” for this video to life. it was not easy to put together basically to separate videos with pj being in australia and me being here.”
As Cyrus said in her message, the ambiance in the video evokes the fan-favorite Hollywood film, ‘The Notebook’ with the vintage outfits, make-up styles, and old cars. As known, the film, based on Nicholas Sparks‘ book of the same name, is focusing on two lovers who can not be together because of certain obstacles.
Cyrus continued her post by thanking her team as follows white confessing that it is so hard to feel confident in front of cameras:
thank you to my team, pjs manager Dan, and everyone at @recordsco and @rcarecords you’re so appreciated by me and PJ. thank you to my amazing glam team for helping me feel confident when I find it so difficult to be in front of the cameras sometimes.”
