Hilaria Baldwin, the wife of the famous actor Alec Baldwin updated her Instagram to share a family photo for the first time after a long hiatus and expressed her sadness by making a statement after the allegations about her on Instagram.
After the scandal that broke out about Hilaria Baldwin lying about her Spanish heritage and faking her accent for years, she and her husband took a break from Twitter because they were disturbed by people who feel that they have the right to say anything to them.
Hilaria Baldwin captioned the family photo stating that she had spent the last month resting and thinking:
“I’ve spent the last month listening, reflecting, and asking myself how I can learn and grow. My parents raised my brother and me with two cultures, American and Spanish, and I feel a true sense of belonging to both.”
Explaining that he grew up with both American and Spanish culture, Baldwin still apologized to her followers for not being clear on this issue and said:
“The way I’ve spoken about myself and my deep connection to two cultures could have been better explained – I should have been more clear and I’m sorry. I’m proud of the way I was raised, and we’re raising our children to share the same love and respect for both.”
Stating that she is open to learning new things and improving herself every day, Baldwin also explained that she wanted to return to her environment, which was supportive and kind as before.
“Being vulnerable and pushing ourselves to learn and grow is what we’ve built our community on, and I hope to get back to the supportive and kind environment we’ve built together.”
