Ryan Seacrest, the well-known host of fan-favorite television shows such as ‘American Idol,’ ‘American Top 40,’ ‘Live with Kelly and Ryan‘ and ‘On-Air with Ryan Seacrest,’ announced his exit from co-hosting E!’s Live from the Red Carpet after 14 years.

On February 4, Seacrest took to his verified Instagram account, posted a photo of himself that sees him hosting the red carpet awards show, and delivered the news through the caption section. Emmy Award-winning TV personality wrote:

“After 14 years of hosting E!’s Live from the Red Carpet I’ve decided to move on to new adventures.”

Then the 46-year-old stated that he would miss the show; the crew he had worked for 14 years:

I’ll miss the whole crew that works so hard behind the scenes and of course my amazing partner Giuliana. Thanks to everyone for watching all these years.”

As soon as the TV & radio personality had released the post announcing his exit from the show, numerous well-known names took to the comments section to say that he made well in the show for years. Here are some of those comments:

“Legendary ICON” wrote, singer & actor Lucy Hale.

“You are a legend Ryan! 👏🏻❤️” added, TV personality Brad Goreski.

“Congratulations on an amazing run my friend” commented, Bachelor Nation’s Chris Harrison.

Seacrest’s announcement came almost two years after he had been accused of sexual misconduct by Seacrest’s former E! stylist Suzie Hardy.
