Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter, Kylie Minogue, updated her Instagram account to share a picture of herself with Michael Gudinski, who is a leading figure in the Australian music industry, at her hometown Australia.
Kylie Minogue, who progressed successfully in her career and became an icon in the field of pop music since the 80s, recently presented her fifteenth studio album ‘Disco’ to music lovers this year.
In the caption of her photo with Michael Gudinski, the 52-year-old singer stated that Gudinski was the legend of the Australian music industry and revealed that he also signed Minogue for her first single in 1987. She continued her praising words as follows:
“Legend of the Australian music industry. He signed me for my very first single way back in 1987! His passion for the music scene, for performers, crews and audiences knows no bounds.”
In the continuation of her post, the Australian singer stated that she was glad to be reunited with her family and country making live music with the following words:
“I am so humbled and thankful to be back home, reunited with my family, friends and my country and to have experienced some live music in this ‘new world’ in the town of #Malacoota.”
As can be understood from her caption, Minogue was delightful to perform to her audience as most of the singer’s missed that feeling during the pandemic. She ended her words sending love to people still in lockdown:
“#soundsbettertogether was a taste of what we can all look forward to and the joy on people’s’ faces was a beautiful sight (and feeling) to behold. Sending so much love to those still in lockdown around the world. Stay strong and stay safe. Love. And love. 💖”
