Singer & songwriter Courtney Love released a heartfelt tribute to well-known supermodel Harry Brant, who passed away in January 2020, at the age of 24. To honor him, Love went to Instagram with a series of shots of Brant, in some of which she is seen with him, and expressed her heart is broken because she had lost a person so much like her late husband Kurt Cobain.
Stating that Brant, who reportedly died of an accidental overdose, was too good for this world, Love Cobain said Brant was her another child than Frances Bean Cobain. She continued her message by referring to the late Nirvana star, Kurt Cobain, who died of a self-inflicted wound to his head, on April 5:
“I know that my Kurt, another boy so much like you, so empathic, too beautiful to be here long, who saw the beauty in even the ugliest, will be there for you. I’m pretty sure he’ll invite you to sit with him at lunch on eagle peak. And I’m pretty sure you’ll show him how to order in French off the menu.”
In her tribute, the Hole’s star thanked Brant, whose mother is famous model Stephanie Seymour, for coming to the world and letting her know him. Then the singer said that she is sure that Brant is at peace with the seed of Buddhism in his heart, and concluded her message as follows:
“My heart goes out to all of us, in his chosen family whose hearts are shattered today, and all of his siblings, dad… and sweet lily of the valley, his beloved mother, Stephanie.”
News regarding Brant’s passing was spread after his family confirmed the New York Times report with the following statement:
“We will forever be saddened that his life was cut short by this devastating disease. He achieved a lot in his 24 years, but we will never get the chance to see how much more Harry could have done.”
Brant was best known for his appearances in Italian Vogue and launching an unisex makeup line for MAC cosmetics.
