It seems everything is going well for Little Mix after Jesy Nelson leaving.

Through the official Instagram page for the girl band, it was announced that ‘Sweet Melody,’ the third single from the group’s sixth studio album ‘Confetti‘ had become number one on UK Singles (OCC), and Scotland (OCC) charts.

Alongside a photo of the group, which is now consisting of three singers, Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, the message was released to deliver the exciting news:

“Sweet Melody is NUMBER ONE 🔥🔥🔥 Thank you to everyone who’s supported the song this week 🖤. WE LOVE YOU ALL 🎉 xx”

The single, from ‘Confetti,’ which has been silver by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), also topped the music charts in Macedonia, Croatia, Guatemala, Hungary, Peru, and Latvia in a highly short time. As known, the single, recorded by the four members of the group, was dropped on 23 October 2020.

Following the post, a great number of fans and followers flooded the comment section and wrote that they deserved it after all these tough times for the band. As fans remember, Jesy Nelson recently announced her departure from the group due to mental health issues. At that time, she released a lengthy statement through social media channels and wrote that she needed a break to improve herself.

“I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard.”

Even though the celebration was made by three, loyal fans of ‘Little Mix’ devoted the success to Nelson, who also contributed to the song as vocal.
