Well-known British singer & songwriter Jessie J has bad news this time.
The ‘Price Tag‘ singer took to her Instagram on the other day, shared a video, which she created by editing the Instagram Live videos, and revealed that she spent the entire Christmas in a hospital in Los Angeles after she lost hearing in her right ear. In the said video, the singer said:
“I woke up and felt like I was completely deaf in my right ear, couldn’t walk in a straight line.”
Then J stated she was diagnosed with Meniere’s syndrome, a chronic and progressive disorder of the inner ear, and added that she missed singing so much. Continued her statement by saying that a great number of people suffering the same condition had reached her to support, and added:
“It could be way worse, it is what it is. I’m super-grateful for my health. It just threw me off. But I’m glad I went early and they worked out what it was real quick and I got put on the right medicine so I feel a lot better today.”
In the video, she described her experience with the disorder which affects balance and hearing by saying that “there’s someone trying to run out of” her ear.
Also, the young artist captioned the abovementioned video with a lengthy message on Instagram. She wrote that she just sang really quietly and spoke a little, and continued her message by stating that she is not posting the video & message for sympathy but to tell the truth regarding her health challenge.
” I don’t want anyone thinking I lied about what actually happened. I wasn’t aware of Menieres before now and I hope this raises awareness for all the people who have been suffering way longer or worse than I.”
J, who admitted 2020 has been a weird and tough year for all the people, concluded her caption by thanking her fans, followers, and friends for checking on her and offering advice and support.
