‘Señorita’ hitmaker Camila Cabello went to Instagram to talk about the love she is experiencing with boyfriend Shawn Mendes one more time.
The 23-year-old artist revealed that she has “learned a lot about love” with Mendes, alongside a photo of the couple kissing at the beach, on the rocks. Then Cabello defined “love” according to her perceptive and said that love is such a complex feeling is not consisting just of happy and blissful moments that can be captured in photos and videos; it is a mirror that reflects you to you again. She continued:
“I constantly have to confront my fears, my anxieties, my insecurities, my patterns of thinking, my beliefs about life and about myself. It’s not as simple as it looks in pictures sometimes.”
The young artist said that love is a power and a forceful pull that makes people braver, wiser, and better than yesterday and encourages them “to be the light in the darkness.” In her message, the singer, who described love as choosing the same person over and over again despite her/his imperfections, also highlighted that loving is the instinct of humans.
Then Cabello admitted that thinking social media is only for showing the neatness and perfection of life made her and the rest of the world more alone. She concluded her words as follows:
“So raise your glass to the messiness and weirdness of being human and the miracle. And the easiness. And the instinct. And the relentless force that is love.”
Not just Cabello but also Mendes is so eager to talk about love. In the new documentary, ‘Shawn Mendes: In Wonder,’ the ‘There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back’ revealed that all of his recent songs were written on the ground of his love for Cabello. He said:
“My song comes on the radio or something and I’m like, ‘Everything’s about you. They’re all … They have always been about you. She goes, ‘What do you mean?’ They’re all about you. Like every song I’ve ever written.”
