One of the best-selling music artists of all time, Usher went to Instagram the other day to celebrate his first son, Usher “Cinco” Raymond V‘s 13th birthday.
‘You Make Me Wanna…‘ singer posted a photo collage, consisting of Raymond V’s childhood photos and expressed how much he loves his boy, who is growing up “too fast.” Alongside the photo, eight-time Grammy Award winner wrote that Cinco always has been a “Big Shot” and asked him hilarious to grow slowly:
“You wanna be grown…so fast!! Slow down…I love my Lil man and am missing those days one year at a time.”
Then the singer wrote that his “kiddo” is his favorite 13-year-old in the entire universe, and thanked him for not forgetting where he came from even though he is the son of a worldwide known artist. He continued:
“You growing every day into the young man I knew you had it in you to be. Here’s to another one. I love you till the end. #Dadbad”
As known, the singer welcomed his baby boy, Usher “Cinco” Raymond V in November 2007 with stylist Tameka Foster, who worked as his personal stylist for long years. In 2009, Foster and Uster filed for divorce; after a publicized child custody dispute that lasted for 3 years, Usher was awarded custody of Usher “Cinco” Raymond V alongside Naviyd Ely Raymond, the singer shared with Foster.
The ‘My Boo’ singer also welcomed a baby girl, Sovereign Bo Raymond last month with his longtime girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea. During his appearance in ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show‘ on November 10, Usher revealed the first photo of his daughter and stated that his sons are excited about being older brothers. He added:
“They are a little bit too protective. Even with me sometimes. As they get older, I’m less cool of a day so I’m starting this whole cycle over again. I’m the apple of her eye right now.”
