Noah Cyrus grabbed a nomination for Best New Artist at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards and shared the news with her loved ones in a puddle of tears.
The sibling of Miley Cyrus updated her Instagram feed with a video of herself, in which she appears talking on the phone bursting into tears. In the video that sees her getting the exciting news regarding the nomination from her manager, the 20-year-old artist expressed that she could not believe that is happening.
What’s more, Cyrus added captioned this emotional video with a lengthy caption to thank her fans and followers and the people who contributed to her musical career and to express the utter shock she experienced with the nomination.
She first wrote in the capital letters that she is now a Grammy nominated-artist and told that her mother, who is described as the biggest fan by Noah herself, wrote in an intentions book for her to be nominated for the award; and thanked mother for her support.
Then the ‘July’ singer showed her gratitude to her manager Zach Kardisch by saying that he is the best manager plus friend and brother to her. Cyrus, who is beyond grateful and full of love and gratitude continued her “early acceptance speech” as follows:
“Thank you to everyone that took part in the making of The End of Everything EP. Thank you PJ for always being there for me and making me feel like my best self as a person and artist. Thank you beyond measures to the recording Academy for listening and truly hearing my music“
The singer, recently launching the duet ‘I Got So High That I Saw Jesus‘ with sister, did not forget her late grandmother, who passed away a few months ago, and wrote that she knows her granny is looking down on her and proud of her.
It apparently seems that even though Cyrus is not receiving the award, she will be happy with getting just the nomination.
