Megan Thee Stallion slammed Tory Lanez with her just-released debut studio album, ‘Good News.’
The ‘Savage‘ rapper released a diss track, titled ‘Shots Fired‘ and addressed directly to her ex, Tory Lanez, who allegedly shot Stallion twice in the foot in July. As known, Lanez pleaded not guilty to felony assault charges in the shooting incident this week, however, Stallion did not abandon her claims against him. With the track, written over Notorious B.I.G.’s ‘Who Shot Ya?,’ the rapper told Lanez:
“And if it weren’t for me/Same week you woulda been indicted… You offered M’s not to talk/I guess that made my friend excited. You shot a 5-10 bitch with a .22/Talkin’ ’bout bones and tendons/Like them bullets wasn’t pellets.”
Through the lyrics, Stallion touched on all of her claims including that she was offered money by Lanez to stay silent, and revealed all the details about the shooting that she did not mention publicly before. The 25-year-old rapper also delivered a treat to Lanez with the following lyrics:
“And we still ain’t got no f ***kin’ justice for Breonna Taylor / Next n **** a send a shot, I’ma send it right back . . . Shoulda let them lock your a** up.”
As fans remember, Lanez, who was ordered by the court to stay away from Megan Thee Stallion, also addressed ” the hottest female rapper” in his song ‘I Ain’t Do It‘ and denied shooting her.
Stallion’s debut studio album ‘Good News,‘ featuring SZA, Beyoncé, City Girls, Lil Durk, Young Thug and DaBaby, was released on November 20, 2020. Not long after release, the album received widespread acclaim from critics.
