Mariah Carey is gearing up to spread Christmas cheer with ‘Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special.’
Mariah Carey’s upcoming Christmas special, featuring Tiffany Haddish, Billy Eichner, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Misty Copeland, Mykal-Michelle Harris, and Carey’s twins, Moroccan and Monroe, will premiere on December 4 via Apple TV+.
The soundtrack for the special, produced by Ian Stewart, Raj Kapoor, Ashley Edens, and Carey herself, will be dropped exclusively on Apple Music on the same day when debuting the special; it will be available on other music platforms as the date of December 11. The said soundtrack includes a new version of ‘Sleigh Ride,’ new single ‘Oh Santa!,’ which features Grande and Hudson, and tracks including musical contributions of Snoop Dogg and Dupri.
Regarding the release, Grande, who recently dropped a music video for her song ‘34+35, ‘ took to Instagram and posted a short clip from the special; she also added a caption that reads:
“No I’m not okay nor will I ever recover 🤍 love you forever @mariahcarey”
As for the Daytime Emmy Award-nominated actor, Billy Eichner announced the news with the following words:
“This is happening. Sooo excited to join the legend @mariahcarey in #MariahsMagicalChristmas!”
The main name of the special, Carey, revealed the release date of the show by writing:
“Let’s get festive!!! 12/4.“
