Demi Lovato is seems healed enough to joke about her broke up with Max Ehrich.
On the E! People Choice Awards night, held in accordance with COVID-19 restrictions, Lovato appeared as host, and talk about her life in her opening monologue. During her self-deprecating speech, the ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer, who debuted blonde hair, said she is excited to host the night because 2020 has been the longest and toughest “three years” of her life.
Then she epitomized the highlights of the year, which started out amazing and continued poorly.
“I performed at the Grammys and sung the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. Thank you! But then COVID hit and everything shut down, so I did what everyone else did, I went into lockdown mode and got engaged.”
She continued by saying she got into certain hobbies such as painting, photography, meditation. In this period of time, she “reached the end of Instagram four times” and watched all the seven seasons of ‘Pretty Little Liars.’ After these, she joked about her two-month engagement with ‘The Young and the Restless’ actor, Ehrich.
“(…) got unengaged, and then I went looking for aliens in the desert, so basically the same as everyone else.”
As widely known, ‘I Love Me’ hitmaker and Ehrich started dating in May 2020 and confirmed their relationship the same month. After a few months, in July, the couple engaged; and announced the engagement through social media channels. However, Lovato broke off the engagement in September.
